This couple just makes my heart happy! In fact they make my heart SWOON! Before I sit down to edit any epic wedding film, I ask myself what was the underlying theme of this wedding? I don’t mean the style (although Tara has an amazing sense of style and every detail incorporated into their wedding was bursting with beautiful, vintage style) but what I am searching for is to find out what the heartbeat of their day was. What stood out to me most and grabbed me with every inch of my soul? I can tell you, I didn’t have to think long. The words that came to mind immediately where heartfelt, unwavering and devoted. This couple has a connection like no other to each other and to their families. From the moment I stepped into Tara’s room and filmed the receiving of her wonderful gifts given to her mom, niece and soon to be, mother-in-law I knew this was going to be a special wedding. Tara opened Kevin’s gift and, through tears shared by her and her mother, reminisced through the years leading up to this day. Tara shared a first look with her father, which is something we don’t get the chance to film often, but is truly special when we do. The ceremony was led by Tara’s grandfather and a special memorial was given through the passing of flowers in remembrance of the couples loved ones who have passed. Can you see the heart behind this day? So much emotion, so many tears joined by the sweet sounds of laughter. Our time with Kevin and Tara was spectacular. They lit up in front of our cameras with their dazzling personalities and contagious laughter. Here’s to another beautiful couple, finding each other, holding each other and committing to each other.
